京都の美意識とおもてなしを世界へ発信

IMA KYOTOは、2026年5月15日にフランス・カンヌで開催された国際文化交流イベント「JAPANESE NIGHT in Cannes 2026」に参加いたしました。

「JAPANESE NIGHT in Cannes 2026」は、俳優・プロデューサーのMEGUMI氏がファウンダーを務めるイベントで、日本映画や日本文化の魅力を世界へ発信し、国際的な文化交流を促進することを目的として開催されています。当日は、世界各国の映画関係者やメディア、文化・経済分野のリーダーなど1,000名以上が来場し、日本のクリエイティブや伝統文化に触れる特別な一夜となりました。

IMA KYOTOは、本イベントへの参加を通じて、京都に受け継がれてきた美意識やおもてなしの精神、そして日本ならではの文化的価値を世界に向けて発信する機会を頂いたことに心から感謝しております。

国境や文化の垣根を越えて人と人がつながる場で、多くの出会いと交流が生まれ、改めて日本文化が持つ可能性と魅力を実感する貴重な時間となりました。

Sharing Kyoto’s Aesthetics and Spirit of Hospitality with the World

IMA KYOTO participated in JAPANESE NIGHT in Cannes 2026, an international cultural exchange event held in Cannes, France, on May 15, 2026.

Founded by actress and producer MEGUMI, JAPANESE NIGHT in Cannes 2026 was created to showcase the richness of Japanese cinema and culture while fostering international cultural exchange. More than 1,000 guests—including film industry professionals, media representatives, and leaders from the cultural and business communities around the world—gathered for a special evening celebrating Japanese creativity and tradition.

Through our participation in this event, IMA KYOTO was honored to have the opportunity to share the aesthetics, spirit of hospitality, and cultural values that have been nurtured in Kyoto for generations. We are deeply grateful for this experience.

The event brought together people from diverse backgrounds and cultures, creating meaningful encounters and exchanges. It was a valuable occasion that reaffirmed the beauty and potential of Japanese culture on the global stage.
